Arthur Samuel Humphrey

Born and raised in Vacaville, California, and a third generation native of the Yolo-Solano county area, Arthur Samuel Humphrey has deep, indelible ties to his community, his beloved hometown, and shares in its rich and storied history.

Spending his formative years attending Alamo Elementary, Willis Jepson Junior High, and Vacaville High School, Mr. Humphrey exhibited an aptitude for philosophy and debate. Complementing the vigor he expressed in his early educational pursuits, Mr. Humphrey also developed a tremendous work ethic and was only a teenager when he landed his first job at Vacaville Sanitary Service, now known as Recology Vacaville Solano, where he earned a reputation for being diligent, conscientious, and meticulous, and those with whom he was intimately acquainted knew that these qualities were far more than a mere indication of things to come.

After graduating from Vacaville High School, Mr. Humphrey attended California State University Sacramento where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy with a concentration in logic and the philosophy of science and a concentration in applied ethics and law. There he would once again surpass all expectations, demonstrating a nearly innate ability to approach seemingly insurmountable problems in new and insightful ways.

His studies at CSUS complete, Mr. Humphrey departed Vacaville Sanitary Service to find gainful employment as the Senior Loan Processor for the Sacramento branch of KMG Real Estate Finance and Investment Company, Inc., where he not only mastered the intricacies of real estate finance, but, more importantly, displayed a penchant for honest and reliable customer service.

Having faithfully served KMG for three years, and longing to fulfill his destiny of practicing law, Mr. Humphrey resigned from his position, and moved to Bloomington, Indiana, to attend Indiana University's Maurer School of Law. There he would earn an A*, the highest grade the school awards, in both Banking Law and a Seminar in Law and Psychology of Crime, Culpability, and Punishment, and was ultimately conferred the degree of Doctor of Jurisprudence.

Shortly after graduation, Mr. Humphrey returned to Vacaville, that home for which he had so longed during those frigid Indiana nights, to serve the community which served him so kindly in his youth.

Today, Mr. Humphrey represents clients in Vacaville and the greater Yolo and Solano county area in business, commercial, tax, and real estate matters.
